Subject: Hi, Honey!

Hi Honey -

Things are just crazy at work today, but the new job is exhilarating.  I adore my co-workers, and my team members seem like real go-getters!  I found out today that the National Sales Meeting has been scheduled for the week before our wedding.  Evidently, I’m in charge of most of it.  That should be challenging, but I feel pretty confident that I can juggle everything.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know how much I love you.  Don’t worry - we’ll keep this fun.

It’s important that you be happy with all the decisions we make.  You’ve given me so much and you make me so happy.  Just tell me anything you want for this wedding - consider it done!

You said you wanted me to give you tasks...well I have your first one:

I’d like you to pick our wedding color.  This is the color that we’ll coordinate into the decorations, dresses, invitations, etc.  Just pick a color that you love, and I’ll run with it!

Could you take the chicken out of the freezer?  I’m planning a wonderful meal for you and I forgot to do it this morning after cleaning up the “dog incident.”  When I find out which kid fed him the Snickers bar, it’s not going to be pretty.  Aren’t hardwood floors great?!?!

I love you,

M

Mitz-

Chicken’s thawing on the counter.

I’m worried about this Sales Meeting.  It sounds like a big deal.  Do you want to think about changing the wedding date?  It would certainly be easy to do at this point.

I’ve completed my first wedding task and chosen a color: Grey.

All my love,

Joey

It’s me again!

Don’t worry about the Sales Meeting.  It’s only a three day event for 150 of our dealers.  All I have to do is coordinate the itinerary, transportation, menus, social events and the key note speakers.  I can do that stuff in my sleep.

I don’t want to change the date.  I’m already sick of this planning stuff and I haven’t even started.  Postponing the wedding will just increase this time in hell.  Summer weddings are fun!

Honey, about that color....

Don’t you think grey is a little...um...dismal?  I mean, it would probably be GREAT for a winter wedding, but this will be summer time.  Could you maybe think of another color?

If the chicken isn’t thawing fast enough, just pop it in the microwave.

Love,

M

Mitzi -

You said I could have anything I want.  Grey is my favorite color.

But I love you more than Grey, so I came up with another color:

Brown

Never mind about the chicken.  Somehow, the dog got it off the counter.

Love ya,

Joe

J,

Sorry about the plethora of e-mails.

Brown?!?!  You’re joking, of course.

Guess you’re stuck with frozen pizza for dinner again.  Sorry about that.

M,

No, I’m not joking.  You know brown is my second favorite color.

I have a question for you: what color do YOU want for the wedding?

The dog’s stomach is making an odd rumbling noise - should I be concerned?

J

Joey,

I was thinking of something along the lines of sage, with perhaps some lavender accents.

You might want to put the dog outside.

Hey,

I’ve picked new wedding colors: sage and lavender.  I know you love lilac bushes.

The “put the dog out” info came a little too late.

Yes, hardwood floors are wonderful.

Would you prefer pepperoni or sausage pizza?

Joe
